Install Pelotrak on iOS

Pelotrak is still in beta. This means it cannot be directly downloaded from the Apple App Store. Instead, it needs to be downloaded using Apple’s beta testing app called “TestFlight”.

Please follow the following steps in Safari on your iPhone.

Step 1 - Install Apple’s TestFlight

Install the TestFlight in the App Store by following this link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/testflight/id899247664

Step 2 - Sign up for the Pelotrak beta app

Follow this link to sign up for the beta: http://bit.ly/pltrkios

This is where it may get confusing (Apple keeps changing the flows).

Most likely, you’ll end up in TestFlight, in which case continue to Step 3.

If you get to a website that says “Step 1: Get TestFlight”, go on to Step 2 on that page (you already did step 1) and click on “Start Testing”.

Step 3 - Accept and Install Pelotrak

You should now be in TestFlight and ask you to accept testing Pelotrak. Click on “ACCEPT”.

It should now be installing Pelotrak on your home screen just like any other app. And you are good to go!

Note: the app will have a little orange dot next to it that marks it as a beta app.

If Apple asks you to sign up

Some users are asked to sign up for TestFlight and there is a different flow (sorry!). In that case sign up, then do the steps above again.

If Apple emails you a code

Sometimes Apple won’t just let you install the app but instead sends you a code. If so, check for an email in the email account associated with the Apple ID (also check the spam folder). Then open TestFlight and click on “redeem” in the top right corner and enter the code. After that, you should be able to install Pelotrak.

If you get a “build expired” message

Make sure TestFlight is installed and you still registered as user for Pelotrak. If you are no longer signed up, go through the steps above again.
